Shipping and Delivery Policy

AREAS OF DELIVERY

Products purchased via our website may only be shipped within the Portugal Mainland and Islands. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. If you are outside of Portugal, contact us for purchases´ information via email or phone (Mon-Fri, 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m).

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

We offer free delivery and return for orders over 500 euros. Our effort is taken to process orders confirmed until 1pm and of in-stock within 3 business days (72 hours) after payment confirmation. For orders less than 500 euros, delivery fees will be added, as described on the checkout process.

Orders are processed Mon-Fri (excluding holidays). You will receive an email confirming that your order has been shipped. Our order should arrive the next business day, after receiving the email with confirmation that your order has been shipped along with the tracking link. In any case, we aim to deliver all orders within 30 days of sending the confirmation order.

All orders shipments are weighed before shipping and have insurance against theft / loss.

All shipments require a signature by an adult (18 years old or older) on delivery. Upon signature by an adult confirming acceptance of the delivered product(s), responsibility for the purchased product(s) pass(es) on to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or by an adult at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sales contract by Torres Joalheiros and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the product(s) had been delivered to you.

We recommend you to inspect your package for damage or tampering before signing and accepting it. If there are any discrepancies between what you ordered and what you received, we kindly ask you to refuse to receive it.

 

TO COLLECT YOUR ORDER FROM A STORE

If you want to colleting your order at a Torres Joalheiros store, you must provide:

1. an order confirmation e-mail

2. Official photo identification (ID card or passport)

3. Proof and payment method used for the order

If someone else is collecting your order on your behalf:

4. Please make sure they bring these elements as well as their own ID card and a letter of authorisation signed by you.

It will be availabe to collect up to 72 hours (3 business days), all orders payment confirmed until 1:00 pm (business days), whose items are available in stock. Please allow an additional 5 business days (in addition to the standard estimate) for your engraved item to be completed. Torres Joalheiros will keep your order for 15 days, after which this period, it will be cancelled.

 

DELIVERY PROBLEMS

If our order is delayed or there are any discrepancies between what you ordered and what you received, we kindly ask you to contact us immediately via e-mail or phone (Mon-Fri, 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m). Torres Joalheiros undertakes to return any incorrect or non-compliant products in accordance with our exchange and returns policy and current legislation.

As a consumer, you have legal rights to any products that are not delivered within 30-day period after your order confirmation.

We will not be responsible for any breach or delay of any of the obligations assumed by us under an order whose cause is due to events that are beyond our control (force majeure). The concept of force majeure must include any act, event, failure to action, omission or accident that is beyond our control, including, among others, the following:

1, General strike, or other forms of protest that significantly affect the country.

2. Public order disturbances, revolt, invasion, terrorist attack, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.

3. Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, epidemic or any other natural disaster.

4. Impossibility of using trains, boats, aircraft, motor transport or other means of transport, public or private.

5. Inability to use public or private telecommunications systems.

6. Officially recognized pandemic situations.

7. Epidemics, pandemics or similar health situations.

Our obligations arising from contracts will be considered to be suspended during the period in which the force majeure reasons occur and we will benefit from an extension of the period to fulfill such obligations, for a period equal to the duration of the force majeure reasons. We will use all reasonable means to stop the force majeure reasons or to find out a solution that allows us to fulfill our obligations under the contract, despite the force majeure reasons.
