Whenever we refer to “Torres Joalheiros”, “we” or “us” in these terms and conditions or anywhere else on this website, we are referring to Torres Joalheiros SA.

The terms and conditions below will apply to any purchase completed through the website torres.pt; You will be able to find all the information regarding your rights and obligations before completing your purchase. As a consumer, you have the right granted by law in relation to the products you buy online from our company, and these legal rights are not covered by these terms and conditions.

To purchase product(s) through our website, you must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction. We sell products through this website for personal or private use only, so you agree not to use any products purchased through this website for non-commercial or resale purposes.

This website is for consumers located in Portugal, since deliveries are made only in Portugal mainland and the Islands. If you are outside of Portugal, contact us for information on purchases.

Payment for online orders is processed at the time of ordering. Torres Joalheiros accepts most major credit and debit cards (VISA; MASTERCARD; AMERICAN EXPRESS), Paypal payment and MBWAY. No checks, cash, money-order or gift vouchers payments will be accepted for online purchases.

For security reasons, Torres Joalheiros may require payment by bank transfer in exceptional circumstances (for example, special orders and orders for high price item). If payment by bank transfer is necessary, there will always be a prior contact to detail the payment method.

An order placed will only be processed and shipped after all the information supplied is deemed verified and approval from the credit-card company has been received, in the case of bank transfer, the funds will available on Torres Joalheiros account.

Your payment card information is transferred to and processed by a third-party payment service provider. SIZE GUIDE

All size guides online documents at our website are provided for reference only. The responsibility for choosing the product correct size it is of the customer.

Any product that does not to represent the correct measure can be returned to Torres Joalheiros according to its legal rights and as established in the Exchange and Returns Policy.

ORDERS

The online store of our website will guide you through the steps you need to take to place an order with us.  For each product selected for purchase on the website, an order summary page will automatically generate:

1. Featuring a photo of the selected product.

2. Name, a short description, colour and the reference number.

3. Number of selected products.

4. It will also show all products selected for purchase, each product’s unit price and the total price of the order (subject to applicable delivery fees).

It is your responsibility to check that this information accurately reflects your selection before submission of the order. The checkout page will allow you to identify and correct any errors in your order before confirming it.

Once your payment is authorized by your payment card company, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order (the “Confirmation Order”). A sales contract will make between us in the moment we send you the confirmation order.

Each confirmation order will indicate the total price of your order, including applicable taxes and delivery fees, in accordance with your chosen delivery option. In the unlikely event that Torres Joalheiros is unable to fulfill your order (for example, if the product is unavailable), we will contact you by email and/or phone informing you and offering you the possibility to cancel or amend your order. When your order is processed and ready for shipment, we will send you a shipping notification e-mail with a tracking code information.

Torres Joalheiros reserves the right to accept or refuse an order in its sole discretion. For example, Torres Joalheiros may refuse your order if there is an ongoing dispute concerning the payment of a prior order or if we suspects, in its sole discretion, that you have engaged in fraudulent activities or have otherwise violated these Terms of online sales.

GIFT PACKAGE

If, during checkout process, you choose to include an offer message, you agree that the gift message option is provided for your own personal and non-commercial use only. If you opt to include a gift message in your order, you are sole responsible for the text and other content of your gift message and Torres Joalheiros accepts no responsibility or liability for any such content. We reserve the right to refuse to print a gift message that contains offensive language and/or to terminate your access to the gift message service at any time and without liability to Torres Joalheiros.

TORRES JOALHEIROS LIABILITY

Torres Joalheiros is under a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract for sale between you and us. As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described.  These legal rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.

WARRANTY

The warranty is valid for two years from the date of purchase. Its scope does not affect consumer rights established by Decree-Law 67/2003, of 8 of April, with the changes introduced by Decree-Law 84/2008, of 21 of May.

As a consumer, our warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights in relation to products that are faulty or not as described. Further information about your legal rights in respect of products that are faulty or not as described is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

During the warranty period, the product that has a manufacturing defect will be repaired free of charge or replaced it with a similar model, in cases where the repair is not possible according to the manufacturer and/or Torres Joalheiros SA. The buyer must present the non-compliant item together with the original of the respective Manufacturer’s International Warranty certificate, duly and completely filled out (indication of the date of purchase, name and address of the dealer and serial number assigned to the item, when applicable) the purchase invoice or other proof of purchase legally permitted and accepted.

These guarantees do not cover the following: batteries, external components (bracelet and glass), defects caused to the product by blows, improper use, negligence, improper handling, modifications, unauthorized repairs, accidents or normal wear and tear.

The guarantee given by the manufacturer is valid at authorized dealers and service centers and all items subject to repair will be analyzed by our technical services as soon as possible.
