Finest creations: Girard-Perregaux
Girard-Perregaux joined Torres Joalheiros in 2017 and has been focused, for over 227 years, on creating perfect watches in both technical and aesthetic terms. The watchmaker started in the field of chronometry and decided to take a further step in the direction of Grande Complication models.
In 1975, Girard-Perregaux presented its new sports models with octagonal design of the dial integrated into the bracelet, a unique character of the Laureato collection.
As of 2017, a new chapter in the history of Laureato is written, with the complete creation of the collection with different materials, functions and box sizes: 44 mm, 42 mm, 38 mm and 34 mm.
A timeless collection
Standing out vividly against the dial of the bridges epitomise a formal and symbolic link between eras. These new timepieces are firmly rooted in the present with a partially openworked dial providing tantalizing glimpses of their inner mechanical secrets.
Launched in 2000, the WW.TC collection is dedicated to world timers. A model following the design spirit of the watches of the 1960s and a tribute to Girard-Perregaux’s technical advances in the field of chronometry, crowned by the Neuchâtel Observatory Centenary Prize.
